| This is probably one of the better drawings I have on here on devART and it's as you can see a fairy of sorts. Detail sucks cause it was put up here by a camera, but it's still one of my better drawings. |

I got into them because my mom has been listening to some different music, so to make my point, go to their myspace page and listen to there music! About me... just look at my gallery, you will see that I am a devoted fan to the Jak and Daxter series, Supernatural and many other different things. Most of what I do is fanfiction, but recently I've been drawing plenty of things that need to be put up, but me have no scanner. Sucks really. But I can draw, it's just that the drawings I have up here really discredit that. |

Daxter wasn't that bad, I have to say that. It gave a great backstory as to what Daxter was doing through the last few months of Jak's imprisonment. But it also introduced that one chicky that I can't remember to save the life of me. And hopefully - you would think - that someone would use her.
I haven't played any of the High Impact games that made a short game from Ratchet and Clank, but it has to run smoothly. I don't think I can trust High Impact with Jak and Dax... it's just not Naughty Dog. Now some PSP games - like the ones you said - those games are worth their salt on the PSP. I've never played any of them my own, but it's just the credits that they were given in some magazines.
You'd think that it would be hard to screw up a Jak and Daxter game, especially when everything is already in place and it would be hard to upset such a strong game franchise. If any other game company could do Jak and Daxter, I would choose Insomniac, only because they've helped ND before and ND has helped them a few times with Ratchet. That and those two games are sort of like brothers, in a weird and not normal way. They sort of came out at the same time.
I saw some of the graphics for the Crash PS2 games and it reminded me of a cartoon, not a video game. It kind of disappointed me. CTR was the only Crash game I ever played, but it was fun to a point. I think a reason why I won't ever play Crash gamaes, is because it's not by the original guys. It's always better with the original.
I'm not even sure about the story line for this Jak IV game. I kind of guessed that there would be a Jak IV, especially because there was a Jak X, but I mean, is ND stupid? Crash was their baby, so is Jak and now they just dump Jak like he's some kind of trash. It makes me really mad. I wouldn't even be happy with the fact that Jak was no longer in the ND company. I would be going to Cali and attacking the execs and screaming at them. I just hope that this Jak IV game is going to be a one time thing and that as soon as Uncharted 2 is up and getting them awards like noneother, they will go back to Jak and do another game. Close up the story and make sure that no other companies, especially like High Impact, can take it and whore it up.
What I've seen with High Impact on the Jak IV game, is that the colors are flat. They've already taken things that make Jak, Jak. It's kind of annoying. I understand the makeover thing, but a thing that bothers me is that the cutscenes that are out, they don't have the green in his hair, or the little dip in his ear. It makes me mad that they are going off cannon and are totally redoing his features. I hope that when ND plays this game they regret ever dropping Jak, because that game is so much, especially to all of the fans - especially the fan girls.
Uncharted sort of reminds me of a movie, a highly interactive movie that kicks ass. You don't get many games like that. I read a review for one of the demo's and it said that the transition from gameplay to cutscene was seamless. He couldn't even tell. I just hope that ND get's their heads out of their asses and remember Jak.

The story line is still left open with the ending of Jak 3 and Jak X was bit of an on the side game.
Probably Mike and Max are tied with other projects or High Impact is running on a small budget. Im sure High Impact is improved enough to make Jak and Dax 4.
Put it this way. Ready at Dawn made "Daxter" and the game play sucked but had the Jak and Dax feel. Ready at Dawn also made God of War and it turned out great.
I suppose we'll never know until the actual game comes out.
The colours maybe flat because it's still in development. It's still in testing stages so the final result maybe actually different.
I agree Insomniac and Naughty Dog are like brothers or cousins in a weird way. But they make excellent games.
It was great how Insomniac brung their Rachet and Clank "franchise" to PS3. If only Naughty Dog did that too! (sigh)

I hope it's at least because of them being tied to some other project. If High Impact is just going to be cheap, I'm kind of going to be wary. The gameplay was questionable for Daxter in my opinion, there were times, like when fighting the bosses, where you did something and they didn't even recognize it. It kind of made me mad, but the storyline and the animations were definitely ND style.
I sure hope that it's still in developement, but what I'm worried about is mainly the cannon things. Like Jak's ears. Those are a thing that make Jak, Jak.
I think it's cool that Insomniac and Naughty Dog are sort of like brothers. If Naughty Dog did bring Jak to the PS3 I'm sure there would be more PS3s bought, that and I'm sure that Jak and the gang would be bringing in a butt load of cash for ND. I loved Ratchet and Clank, it still had the original feel to it, but they added all the six-axis stuff to it, so it made it really fun to play.

The detailing is there, the characters are there... and the game play looks like the usual Jak gameplay. Although it's hard to see things like Jak's ears in detail because the trailer is shown on such a small screen. When playing it, perhaps you can take in a closer look.

Some of the screenshots that I've seen for this game have, don't show the little dippy thingies and it's just kind of annoying. I played my sister a clip from Jak 2 and then I played the trailer for Jak 4 and she even noticed the severe difference in voice change for Jak... I think it's really sad, especially since she doesn't even play any of the Jak games. ^-^
