*DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED!!!!!*Alright, I'm done with that. But OMG!!!!! That was effing amazing!!! Like seriously!!! I've never seen such a good movie. I was actually kind of worried, because well... I thought that the soundtrack personally sucked ass... but now that I've seen the movie... That has gone right up to freaking heaven!!! I think that they did an awesome job!! And to give it a true review I will do my best.
Comparison 8/10In all honesty, I think that they hit all the main parts of the movie in a fantastic way. They covered all of the good parts and of course everything that made the book amazing. In the beginning, it didn't make much sense, because they added the Volterra scene in the way beginning, which made me slightly confused since I haven't read the book in a long time, but the "Mirror" scene that Bella has in her dream, was fantastic! I enjoyed every bit of it! I happen to have a hard time ever crying, so when Edward left, there were no tears streaming down my face. But it was well done and it was enjoyable. Though hard to watch, it was still nice to watch. When Sam found Bella I didn't expect to see him in his wolf-form at first, but it made sense because Bella does say in the book that she "thought" that she saw some kind of animal. I very much enjoyed how they put the months that Bella was in that deep depression after Edward left, it was interesting and throughout the movie Bella would "talk" to us and she was writing Alice letters, but they were not sending, it was like a way for Bella to try and get rid of her feelings or pains I suppose. And all throughout the movie, Bella does also have the dreams that scare her, it was very well put together. The communion between Bella and Jacob was amazing!!! They didn't show the part where Bella got the motorcycles, but them riding it was awesome!!
And because there are weird fans - like Merci - who are obsessed with lines that the Res Boys say, I believe it is Quil or Embry that says "She runs with Vampires." So if you are dying to hear that line, you're in luck!
There are also many other things that are nice. The werewolf transformations are amazing, and since I'm onto that, they got every werewolf right!!! It was amazing!!! Jacob's wolf-form was very well put together, and how they put the emotions that Jacob has for Bella was soon very well through the eyes. You could tell and it also was very emphasized through the physical movements that were done. Most of the time the wolves were growling, but it was very nicely mixed together. When Alice came back though I instantly wanted to cry, but I didn't. And they also put a whole new perspective into what happened when Edward called and Jacob talked to him. It was definitely much nicer than what I had thought happened. And now that we're to the Volturi, I will go to them. The whole place that Volterra is, is just simply amazing! I figured that Volterra would be surrounded by city, not a whole out country field, but it was and it isolated Volterra that much more! It made the Volturi much more menacing as well. And yes if you were worried about whether or not Alice says "How do you feel about Grad Theft Auto" she does eventually say it, just not in that way. It was very well planned out. And during the whole Volturi confrontation was also very good, especially how Alice showed Aro when Bella would be turned into a vampire - which I will go into detail later.
All in all, this was a very good movie in comparison, much better that Twilight was!!
Contrast 2/10There were some things that were missing, but out of the things that were missing, and things that were added, it was very nicely taken out or added. Things like Victoria and the wolves and also the way how Bella "saw" Edward, was very nice. It was small things that made the movie better in places and terrible in others. I didn't exactly like the parts where Bella was talking to us and "writing" letter to Alice, but it added a very emotional part to the movie and it slightly made it better, but only slightly. One thing that I did like that they added was how they tore Laurent apart, that was amazing!! But those were only the small things. And those things that they added and took out made the movie better, because there some things that just weren't needed, such as the plane ride, and they cut that short and it was very well done.
Favorites 10/10Obviously it would be 10 out of 10, but the main reason why is because of how well Christopher Heyerdhal did Marcus. He had more than one line and it made my entire day to see him have more than one line. When they first mentioned the Volturi, I sank into my seat with happiness because Marcus was wearing basically tight pants from the Victorian days and it made my day! Then it continued on to them being in the ugly ass robes, but it was still amazing to see. My entire night was made and I will be in a high for a while because Marcus was done so well!! I was very much so worried about Chris playing Marcus, because he doesn't look like a Marcus or even what I pictured Marcus to look like, but he did a very good job. That much is certain.
And of course for the people that are wondering, Jacob is more or less shirtless throughout the entire movie. And that made it wonderful!!! I am forever happy that he was able to do the part of Jacob, he did such an awesome job!!
To my favorite part during the Volturi scene - besides of course Marcus - was the vision that Alice showed Aro of Bella as a vampire. Does anyone remember Breaking Dawn? Anyone remember Edward and Bella running through the woods?

Take your guess as to what they showed for that!!! I basically died in my seat when I saw that.
And then the ending. "I have one condition. ... Marry me Bella." BLACK SCREEN!!!! I wanted to die!!! And then the credits rolled. But how they ended it was very well planned and thought out. There is no doubt about it. I cannot wait for Eclipse to come out, and because they showed that part with Bella and Edward running - Bella even wearing the blue dress!!! - they have to Breaking Dawn. There is no doubt about it.

I've managed to find it on the same site that I watch Supernatural S5 on (watched Ep 2 earlier!)
Just wanted to ask, is the vampire diaries based on the books by L.J.Smith?
